The vague outline of a face in profile can be seen toward the right side of the canvas, while the background is dominated by a closed window. Through rich layers of paint, Munar builds up evocative compositions at the confluence of fragmented narratives, where interior and exterior spaces intertwine and where phantasmagoric visions infiltrate the physical world. Through their dense surfaces, the work carries its own history like layers of sediment, to which the Spanish title adds another poetic layer.
