Peres Projects is pleased to present Stay Mute, a solo exhibition by Seungho Jo (b. 1994 in Suwon, KR) at Peres Projects Shilla space in Seoul.The exhibition features ten three-dimensional works, most of which are being shown for the first time. As the title suggests, Stay Mute presents objects that are deliberately maintained in a state of silence. The viewer has to come close to listen to these items that keep their mouths shut, such as loudspeakers disguised as stones, objects muted by billboards and flyers that lack the will to advertise, among others.
