Peres Projects is pleased to present Sholto Blissett’s (b. 1996 in Salisbury, UK) first solo exhibition with Peres Projects at the Milan gallery.
Sholto Blissett creates dream-like vistas that sit beyond any traceable time period. Interested in notions of the idyllic, the rural and the pastoral, Blissett’s practice seeks to deconstruct the ‘fictions societies create to understand their place in nature’. Eerily quiet, these scenes are often set amongst vast mountain-scapes, immediately enveloping the viewer in a meditative and transformative universe.
