Dressed to leave this world Dalton Gata
Current exhibition
Press release
Peres Projects is pleased to present Dalton Gata's (b. 1977 in Santiago de Cuba, CU) third solo exhibition with the gallery and his first in Milan.
Gata’s multidisciplinary practice draws on a visual language of stylized realism, with nods to the legacy of surrealism. His long and curved brushstrokes, and his composed figures reference and stimulate a sense of embodiment and eroticism. These works are deeply rooted in and signal the artist’s Caribbean background and make reference to African and Spanish histories.
More information will be available soon.
