Best Before Aks Misyuta

Peres Projects is pleased to present Aks Misyuta's (b. 1984 in Bryansk, RU) first solo exhibition at the gallery and her first in Seoul. 

 

Misyuta sculpture-like forms transport us into realms where the boundaries of possibility blur, where enigmas and invented scenarios reign supreme. Within these forms, figures emerge, seemingly hewn from solid substance, their unmistakable presence immediately arresting. Though not born from the mold of real-life individuals, these figures serve as manifestations of self-exploration, capturing the intricate web of psychological nuances that enshroud their subjects.
