Peres Projects is proud to present “You Can’t have no BBQ sauce unless you get some chicken McNuggets”, a new body of work by Richard Kennedy, at Independent NYC.
Kennedy’s new opera is the latest work in the artist’s series of Operas Without an Audience, recorded and presented as a video installation. The work incorporates dance and choreography, song, costume and set design. Our presentation also includes new paintings based on the libretto for this opera. This spring and summer, Kennedy will restage his first opera, “BLACK RAGE” at the Zabludowicz Collection in London and his work will be included in a major exhibition in Paris, UBUNTU, A Lucid Dream at Palais de Tokyo.
