슈앙 리(b.1990, 중국 우이산)는 세계적인 상호작용 시스템에서 이루어지는 일들과 다양한 지역 간 불균형한 정보의 흐름에서 영감을 얻는다. 그녀의 작품은 퍼포먼스, 인터렉티브 웹 사이트, 조각, 동영상 설치 등을 아우르며 현대 디지털 풍경을 구성하는 다양한 매체를 연구한다. 그녀의 퍼포먼스는 미디어뿐만 아니라 미디어와 사람 간의 상호작용까지 중시한다. 상호작용에서 발생하는 각기 다른 형태의 친밀감은 제각기 다른 기술들과 사람이 어떤 방식으로 접촉하는지, 그리고 신체와 욕망을 조절하는 신자유주의를 어떻게 형성하는지를 탐구하며 그녀의 예술적 실천을 관통한다.
