Peres Projects is pleased to announce Donna Huanca's solo exhibition, BLISS POOL, at Space K in Seoul, South Korea. The exhibition invites the viewer into an enveloping installation which dialogues with the curved arches and walls of the architecture at Space K. Comprised of painting, sculpture, sound, scent and performance, BLISS POOL engages the viewer in a uniquely immersive and multi-sensory total work of art. The exhibition opens on March 9 and will run until June 8, 2023.

The body and skin are ongoing points of focus in Donna Huanca’s (b. 1980 in Chicago, US) work, where she employs them as both surface and material. Her immersive artworks source from deep in our planet, echoing the geology of earth and employing palettes drawn from the natural world. Structurally layered and dense, they embody an allegory of the fragmentation of our identities.
