Melike Kara: Body Language

“There is a big shift in the exhibition in that the figures in my paintings do not seem to belong anywhere.” Looking into the idea of belonging as an individual and as part of a group, Melike Kara's sketchy, energetic paintings are full of interlocking limbs, tongues and clusters of figures in states of play and aggravation.
